Creating this cameo necklace requires a rather complex process. First, a sheet of glass is cut in the shape of a skull; then flower-shaped holes are cut out. Next, the holes are filled with colorful glass chips. It is then fused on another glass sheet, after which the shapes are carved and the details are engraved with a glass engraving lathe and drill.
Finally, the silver mount is made for the turquoise and clasp. It is assembled with natural coral beads and forged brass hooks, attached to a sheet of glass and set in a wood frame.
